Don’t forget that there are no people with perfect skin and that everyone, even the ‘perfect’ models and actors, occasionally faces skin problems. Most likely, reading this article, you too are no exception, and sometimes struggle with unpleasant manifestations in the form of spots and black dots.

Not only do pustules and inflammation on our skin make us less attractive, but it can also affect our health. What we eat isn’t just words. It’s not that hard to be sure they’re right: it’s not uncommon for problem skin to be undernourished. But all you need to do is adjust your diet and add a few products to your daily routine - and the result is clear. So what do you do if you have problematic skin?

Why Do I Get Acne?

Acne is an inflammatory skin problem that occurs when the pores of your skin become blocked with oil, dead skin, or bacteria and caused by many things:

  • Plugging of hair follicles;
  • Hormonal fluctuations that trigger the body to produce excess oil;
  • A bacterial infection that causes inflammation.

Acne severity can arrange from blackheads and whiteheads to cysts. Scientific research says that people between the ages of 12 and 24 experience acne. Genetics and environmental influences play a huge role, but it is not clear why some people have severe breakouts while others barely have a pimple is not entirely clear.

Wash Up Daily

It’s the most natural thing you can do, but it’s useful! A simple way to keep acne and greasy gloss in check is to wash your face regularly. Cleanse your face twice a day, both in the morning and evening.

Use a gentle soap or facial cleanser to help cleanse away excess oil, indoor and outdoor pollution, dirt, and other irritants to leave your skin feeling fresh and clean. At first, when you use the new washing tool, you can see dramatic changes. Gradually, the same product may become less effective for your skin, so change the washer periodically. You can use one product for several days, then pick another. This way, you will avoid addiction and have a more significant effect. Also, use a facial scrub regularly, but you should not abuse it either, 1-2 per week will be enough.

Also, make sure to cleanse your face after you sweat like after completing work out or running as sweat can irritate breakouts and cause a specific form of acne called acne mechanica. If soap and water aren’t available, you can cleanse your skin with facial cleansing cloths or fragrance-free baby wipes.

Don’t Touch Your Face

If you need to touch the face, first wash your hands thoroughly for 30 seconds, and only then you can do what you need to do. Some people are used to touching the corner of their mouth or the chin. If you’re no exception, try to keep an eye on yourself. Even before using the washing-up liquid, wash your hands thoroughly.

Furthermore, don’t squeeze out pimples and blackheads. All inflammation on the face should be removed correctly. Otherwise, you can bring an additional infection under the skin, which provokes even more severe inflammation and can also cause scars. Instead, clean pimples regularly with specialists, or if you do them at home, follow all recommendations, and ensure sterility. Even if you think it’s all a joke, take your word for it: one squeezed pimple can be a hotbed of serious problems, right down to blood poisoning. Now think, how many of these do you squeeze out in one week?

Drink Water & Herbal Tea

While using the greatest skin-care products, and the latest procedures can help you to achieve clear, glowing skin, sticking to an inside-out approach to beauty is basic of perfect skin. Staying hydrated is a crucial part of keeping skin healthy. Water alone is key to great skin condition as it flushes out toxins from the body that cause skin irritation and inflammation, supplies nutrients to your cells, and keeps cells hydrated to get glowing skin.

Additionally, refrain from fizzy drinks, packaged juices, and sugary cocktails which have lots of sugar and carbs that can trigger issues like dullness, inflammation, and acne. Instead, consider drinking various herbal teas that offer many health benefits both inside and out. To see tea benefits, you can drink, use extracts, or apply directly to your skin. You can try to take teas like Dandelion, Jasmine, Green, Chamomile, White, and Peppermint Tea. Each of them works in its own unique way to help hydrate, nourish, and keep your skin looking beautiful.

Eat More Fruits & Vegetables

Anything that you consume, eat, or drink has an impact on your body and its largest organ - the skin. Natural beauty starts from within, and when your insides are working correctly, it reflects on the outside.

If you stuff and clog your digestive system and liver with junk food and unhealthy drinks such as fried foods, spicy foods, white flour, and sugar, they slow down filtering and treatment of your liver and gut. As a result, the toxins and free radicals can start to run free in your blood and body, which also negatively impact your skin and contribute to acne breakouts in the process.

Consider limiting yourself to drink cocktails and eating junk foods while consuming instead carrots, cantaloupe, spinach, and other vitamins and fruits which are loaded with vitamin A and can lower oil production.

Use Different Oils For Face

Fighting oily skin with more oil might sound strange, but do not neglect nature’s help in treating acne. Face oil is a useful tool, and the right facial oils can make a huge difference. When the skin’s oil is in balance, it produces less sebum, which results in less grease on your face. Apply the oil to your face every night before bed and try to sleep with the energised fan.

You can resort to oils like jojoba oil that can help to control your shine, break down and dissolve sebum, and grape seed oil that works as a natural astringent and helps to mattify your skin. At the same time, pomegranate oil is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory remedy that prevent zit-causing bacteria in pores while soothing inflamed and broken-out skin, and rosehip oil helps to hydrate skin with fatty acids that also reduce redness and fade acne scars.

What’s more, many people prefer to use CBD oil that contains a unique component, which is called cannabidiol (CBD). CBD oil can not only help with the stress, boost the immune system, and improve heart health, but it may also improve skin condition. CBD possesses antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, moisturising, and soothing properties, and includes nutrition content of vitamins and minerals, which makes this product beneficial and suitable for all skin types. CBD is known to be useful for treating psoriasis, acne, eczema, dryness, and other skin conditions and issues.

Be Beautiful Inside

Inner beauty is much more essential than outer beauty. Be kind, help others, and treat others with respect. Remember that no matter what, you are beautiful. There are no ugly people in the world; everyone is beautiful in their way. Leave your mark in this world and let it be positive.
